I installed the mount in our RV. The directions were very clear (except for a mixup on how many lag screws to use to attach it to the wall – 4, as supplied, not just the 2 shown). It was easy to install and, once installed, it’s very sturdy and easy to use. I would not hesitate to buy another one if needed.

The lag bolts that come with the mount assume you will be installing in a stud. I was installing in a RV. So the bolts were to long for an exterior wall and extended too far into a interior cabinet. So I simply changed the hardware since I had access to both sides.

Nice mount for a small (19”) tv in our camper. I had to install it upside down because of very limited space and I need it to close with arm going the other way. It works just fine like that. So far it has held up very well and stays in place without issue.

We decided to add a TV in our camper bedroom, and the marked mounting location was on the wall at the foot of and side of the bed, not directly in front, so we needed a full articulating mount. This item was actually the lowest priced of those which would lock in place for travel, and I liked the pin lock better than the slide catch. Installation was simple, the construction is solid with no play in the joint movement and it does indeed lock solidly in place. We have not traveled with it yet, so I can’t comment on whether the lock will stay in place on bumpy roads, but it certainly seems as though it will. This has a 25″ TV mounted on it and could easily handle much more weight than this TV has.

I am very happy with this mount. I like the pull tab to release it after traveling. The only watch out is the mount is not obviously aligned with center. You must be careful drilling your holes so that the TV ends up centered in the space you want it. The arm is offset some and you have to make allowances for it.

I had to reinforce the wall in the cubby where I installed my TV due to the design of my travel trailer. Once I did that, the installation was straight forward. I used to take my tv off of the mount for travel, (time consuming and troublesome,) and store it wrapped up to keep it protected. It turns out that the safest place for it to be while riding on our bumpy highways is right where it is when we are watching it.
The USX Mount Lockable RV TV mount has changed my attitude entirely!

Easy to install, easy to activate latch. Latch holds securely. There is enough tension on the arm hinges to hold the TV in place. I used it on a 32″ TV, as TV weigh has dropped so much, only 9.5 lbs, much less than the max weight rating on this. It included a small level, which was just about unreadable because of it size. I did not need it anyway, as I needed to line up with the recess for TV mounting.

I read the reviews before I bought this mount and yes if you are putting this mount in an RV you will most likely need shorter lag bolts. I used deck screws to mount mine as I was afraid the huge lag bolts would spit the little studs they use in my RV. I also loosened the bolts on some of the pivot points as they are just too stiff to operate in an RV. Overall this mount works great just had to adjust the tightness of the bolts.

Very good mount. I installed in the bedroom of our RV and it works very well. Be sure to measure the center of the TV and not the center of the mount when installing in a limited area. I measure wrong and had to reposition but the move went seamlessly as well. Unit locks in place well and provides a secure mount while traveling. Recommend this product for RV install in limited areas.
