We purchased a new 65″ Samsung Smart TV for my wife’s mother to replace a tiny 32″ flat screen TV. I needed a mount that would swing at least 45-degrees because the mounting location was in a corner of the room. This USX Mount seemed to have all the capabilities, had good reviews, so I took a chance.
It is very easy to install the mount and the design allows the TV to be placed laterally anywhere along the pair of horizontal rails that extend about 12″ left or right from the center plate — which was essential given the fact that I could only estimate the final placement given the tight corner it was going into. The brackets that attach to the VESA screw inserts on the TV can be placed high or low to adjust the final elevation of the big screen for viewing — hanging the TV on the rails is definitely a two-person task. Once hung and in the right place, two screws complete the job of securing the TV to the rails.
The articulating arms allow the TV to be mounted easily when pulled away from the wall, then pushed back into the final viewing position as needed. The pivot points are firm and the mounting plate adjusts both horizontally several degrees clockwise or counterclockwise (to level the top/bottom edge of the TV with the ceiling/floor) if you miss the level when securing to the wall, and can be tilted down even more (to about 10-degrees) if the placement is high on the wall.
Everything about this mount is exactly what I needed, and the included level and wall template made the job of installing about a 15-minute task. I already had a cordless impact driver to run the bolts into the studs, and the only other tool I needed was a stud finder because this mount is not designed to be installed with toggle bolts in drywall (although I think it could work, the final instructions tell you to pull on the mount to make sure it is secure in the studs, and I definitely wouldn’t want to try that with toggle bolts) — it must be bolted into wood studs or inserts must be tapped into a solid masonry wall.
I had worked out the geometry on paper and determined roughly how far away from the corner I needed to place the mount, and found the two studs I needed in almost the exact spot. The final TV angle is almost a perfect 45-degrees with the TV pressed back into the corner so that it touches the two walls (this also gives just enough room to stand behind the TV to be able to plug in the power, HDMI, and antenna cables, and adjust the forward tilt to complete the installation). The entire job was completed in less than half an hour.
I enthusiastically recommend this mount for your large-screen TV.

I am absolutely satisfied. This tv wall mount is well made. It came with plenty of hardware except for the anchors which I called the company and with 3 days it was delivered at no charge. I put up my tv and did small adjustments to accommodate for the tv and my stone mantle for clearance. It was very easy to do the adjustments. I recommended this item to my brother in law which he then also purchased. The only thing are the hook brackets that is mounted to the TV. The bottom portion of the hook can’t align with the hole if the 3rd hole from the top is screwed in because of that small brace. But then again it depends on the tv itself.

I read some reviews with mounts similar to this that they weren’t centered. This one is centered, easy to adjust to center, and has quite the mobility. Our bed is parallel to the wall the TV is mounted to. We can easily adjust the tv mount to have the right angle and have a movie night in bed! Sits almost flush to the wall for walking past as well.

This is probably my 5th purchased of this TV mount. Comes with all components making installation a breeze. Used it on several 55′ and one 75′ TV all without fail. Holds securely to wall and positioning is a breeze. Just be sure you use a good stud finder and impact driver (if you have one). That makes installation easier.
