I wanted to write a review that is hopefully meaningful for those really looking for great speaker stands…..and like me, are struggling over what to do. I just purchased a Vizio M Series-Elevate, and knew I wanted my rear speakers on stands, to help amplify and surround my system. Also, I needed and wanted sturdiness as well as stands that looked good. First of all, being a professional musician for many years, and using microphone stands live for years….I didn’t want heavy, round bases. Tri-pod stands are always the best, and these stands are tri-pod. They’re sturdier, they fit better into weird and tight spots, (although, depending on your particular situation round or curved bases might work better. You just have to look carefully at where they’ll be.) Next, was would they extend to the height I wanted. Absolutely. These stands have a speaker extension that allows you to get even higher that the 45 or so inches the stands allow for. However….if you have 8 pound speakers forget it, these stands are not for you, and the instructions tell you this up front.
The speakers extensions were perfect for my Vizio speakers. In fact, using the screws that came with the speakers it fit perfectly, I have the perfect height. And let me tell you…..it changed how that entire system sounded!! Even TV commercials take on a whole new dimension. So stands for a surround sound system with rear speakers is a must! Also, these stands are perfect for box, or squared off speakers as there’s a small platform at the bottom to hold, or rather set the speakers on depending on how big or small they are. The price was also well below what I had allotted for myself and stands. Very easy to put together and set up, the instructions made sense and I had it together in about 20 minutes. Then figuring out how to get my speakers on there was also easy. And these speakers are not squared or boxy, they’re rounded off and kinda strange looking, but they fit perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with my choice.
So…..price, sturdy, ease of putting together, looks, and fitting numerous speaker sizes (except 8 pound speakers) these stands checked every box for me. I highly recommend them!!

These stands are made very sturdy and work great with my surround sound speakers. Highly recommend if you don’t want to mount wired speakers to your wall. They make your setup look very professional, and the telescoping poles make them adjustable for the perfect height. You can easily position them in the corners of your theater room.

Easy to put together, very stable and adjust easily. For some reason, the two sizes of screws provided for mounting the back stand directly to the speakers did not fit the threaded insert in my Sony speakers. The wing nut and post that fits in the slotted hole at the top of the speaker did work, just not as “elegant.” Good cord management, too.

These were great speakers for my satellite speakers in my Jamo s803 surround sound system. The weight of these speakers were a bit above the rated weight capacity for these stands, but they still hold up sturdy, and they arent in a place they could get knocked over. I did need to make a small spacer to screw them into the back of the speaker the way I wanted to, but it worked out great! Solid materials and good build quality.

I was a bit skeptical to be honest. I’m on a budget but needed these stands. So let’s get the inexpensive see what happens.
What happened was me being pleasantly surprised. They are easy to assemble. And extremely sturdy. I have them standing on carpet. They’re not wobbly as we walk past, the base is thick trifooted, the height is adjustable as are the options for mounting the speaker.
I enjoyed being surprised about a product, this is a solid product i have no worries setting the speakersin our yard for movie night. Bravo

I bought these because I returned another brand which didn’t work. These are more than sturdy. They say they can hold 8lb speakers, but I’d say even more. Two negatives. 1) the speaker wire can’t go inside to stand, they have to run down the back. 2) these attach to the speaker with this sliding bar on the back. For small speakers it sticks down quite a bit. Kinda ugly. Otherwise they are strong and look relatively good but pretty basic.

These are absolutely perfect for the speakers mentioned in the title, I’m using the key hole option but the screws that come for the screw hole also fit so you can use either or if you own the Sony SA-RS5 Rear Speakers,

I’ve been looking for a set of speaker stands to hold my RSL CG3 speakers. I had high hopes for these since they looked pretty sturdy as I was building them, with enough clearance to mount them directly to the speaker or through the keyhole. Unfortunately the mounting bolts don’t fit the speakers, as has been stated in several other reviews. Keyhole hanging was still an option, so I got it assembled in that configuration. The CG3 speakers I have are 6 lbs and these stands are rated to hold up to 8, but I can say for sure they shouldn’t be, at least in keyhole configuration. When I hung the speaker by the keyhole the metal was bending and leaning forward, and a light nudge would knock the speaker off. That option was crossed off. I looked for some hardware to mount them directly to the threaded hole on the speakers. I found something that would work, but the 6″ depth of the speaker wouldn’t allow me to center the weight over the stand, which felt top heavy and was leaning forward. They might be ok if they were never touched, but I didn’t want to test that out. I was as low as they could be placed too, so raising the stand higher would likely cause them to fall over, or at least be very unstable. I was hoping these would work for me, and they’d probably be great for some tiny speakers like you’d get with a sound bar, but unfortunately I’ll be returning them since they don’t work with my small bookshelf speakers.

I almost could give this a 5 star review but the speaker mounting screws they give you are useless. The small ones are too small and the big ones are too big. There is no hanging key so I can’t use that either. I will have to go to the hardware store and but some screws to actually use this. Disappointing. It was very easy to put together and I liked the tool they give you. Very clever. I just can’t use them until I buy more stuff.

I bought these stands for my Polk SR2 surround speakers, and they are perfect! The stand is all metal, no plastic, very sturdy, and is very flexible for different speakers, just make sure they weigh under 11 pounds. What I like most is the base – it’s flat, unobtrusive, and has adjustable leveling pads. This was also the least expensive stand on Amazon yet it’s super stable!
