I thought the latches that hold the tv to the mount were sketchy at first but they turned out to be very sturdy. Installed in 24 inch steel studs for a 65 inch tv. It looks great!

If you have a large tv (55in or larger) this mount allows you to easily get behind the tv to access wall outlets and tv inputs/outputs. Installation is the same as any other wall mount though if you are installing on a shallow wall with 2×2 studs the included lag bolts will be too long. It’s constructed well and after a month of use my tv hasn’t fallen off the wall so that’s a plus. Those wanting to flush mount their tv should look elsewhere as this one has about a 2in gap between the wall and tv.
