Used to install a imac on a wall. What we need but was a pain to tighten onto bracket since it fits so close to wall. It was expected being a close mount, but we made it work.

I bought two of these mounting units to mount my computer monitors on the wall and get them off my desk. They work perfectly. The instructions say not to use with just drywall and to find a stud to attach the brackets to the wall. I guess that would be a good idea if you’re using them to hang a TV, but I used some really sturdy anchors without finding a stud. These monitors weigh much less than a TV, so there’s been no issues using the anchors. The monitors can swivel in all directions. Very nice product at a very reasonable price.

Even though I returned it, for the right person, I would still rate this a 5 star product. I was going to mount it in a corner area inside our RV bedroom. It looks like a very strong and sturdy product. I’m sure after all the bouncing around on pothole roads that always lead to our campgrounds, the TV would still be held firmly in place. The issue as to why it was returned? Due to the tight area where our “mount tv here” sticker is, we could not turn the tv any further, to see the led screen straight on, for best viewing angle, because our 24″ tv’s side gets pressed up against the wall. We needed a mount with a swing arm. If you can attach this mount to a wall, where you can see the tv screen straight on, then by all means, this might be the product for you (low cost, low profile, and sturdy).

Maybe it’s just me, but I was having an awful time with these mounts. I bought 2 so I could mount 2 computer monitors above my desk.. all was fine until I went to put it in a stud and I just couldn’t find a stud! I don’t know if it’s just my apartment building or maybe the stud finder I was using, but I just couldn’t find one. This wouldn’t have been an issue, except this product says not to use drywall anchors… so… you need to put it in a stud. Eventually just decided to return these and try something else.

Most likely my fault, but one of the mounts is now twisted where the locking screw is installed. Mfgr should have welded the two layers of metal instead of leaving them separated. With them separated, the two layers begin to bend opposite of each other when locking screw is over tightened. But, for the price, you can’t really beat it. Packaging is nice, instructions are clear, all hardware provided. For the low price….perfect.

Excellent little thing,it works very well and I’m very happy with it.Here’s what I think you need to know before you buy this.1-it is tiny, I was genuinely shocked by how small it is for a wall mount.2-it is sturdy,it’s made entirely of steel,so it has no bend or flex to it.3-it has tilt and swivel function,but it’s not height adjustable so make sure you pick the right spot before you install it.4-its not very easy to install, you will need a drill or a spanner to attach it to the wall.Apart from a little bit of installation pain , I’m quite happy with it ,and I must say my monitor does looks a lot better mounted on my wall than it does sitting on my desk.

The product does just what you need without going overboard to your walls. Simple 2 stud application or in my install, i went with two drywall anchors rated for 50 lbs.The lag bolts that come with it are indeed heavy duty as for maybe brick or even studs. But mounting a 27 in monitor that weights 12 lbs i have no issue so far using drywall anchors without studs. If it came without instructions you could still mount a monitor or light tv no problemThe mount came locked into a angle that i felt no need to adjust but can be easily loosened to tilt to your preference. I enjoy the face that i have a little more space in the back for my hdmi and power cable to not be be overly bent to accommodate a “flush” wall mount. Its not like i need my monitor built into my wall like ive seen in some reviews.Over all for the price, and the quality of the paint/materials, extremely satisfied with this and will purchase a second here in the future for dual setup.

Does the job but the assembly is awkward, clumsy and unnecessary. When attaching to back of TV there are two large rubber washers that have to line up with holes that fall off as you try to assemble unless you line them up and hold them in place with a screwdriver or pencil. Makes for a clumsy and more difficult assembly which seems unnecessary. The rubber washers should be attached already. Also if you’re attaching to brick or cement they do not include the anchors and you must notify them by email or phone to ask for them to be shipped, which only delays your assembly. Would be more reasonable and customer friendly to just include the anchors in the packaging as may be required. Overall it works as needed and is solid in quality.

Loved the price and the instructions included. Also, these arrived quickly. Just in time to get everything set up over the weekend. Due to work from home requirements, my desk was very cluttered. The desk I am using wouldn’t allow the usual monitor stand because it is a built-in shelf in an alcove so no place to clamp on. I also use three monitors for work and then two for personal which I also use for work. Instead of playing around trying to find proper studs, we mounted a board to the wall. That way we could place the monitors where needed to save space. This setup works great and allows me to have two keyboards/mice on the desk without issue. I am actually going to order another one. Very sturdy and you can adjust the tilt up/down and side to side.

I had to make a wooden block to mount this because of the way my desk is built, but it worked fine. I tried to use one of the fancy mounts which claim an “articulated arm” but those would only allow the monitor to go as low as the flange mount. I needed it to go BELOW the flange mount. If they added one more movable joint, the articulated mount would have worked. They should be built like one of those illuminated magnifying glasses watchmakers use.
